Summer Lessons

In addition to our Ranch Camp sessions this summer, we're offering group lesson days based on your child’s level of riding and horsemanship skills. Up until the end of the school year, we will be preparing your child to test into one of our four levels of horsemanship. Before the end of the school year, we encourage parents to schedule their children into as many private or semi-private lessons as possible to prepare them for testing dates, which are as follows:

  • June 7 - Bronze Level Test
  • June 8 - Silver Level Test
  • June 9 - Gold Level Test
  • June 10 - All-Star Test

You may sign up for your test time at your next lesson. Tests may take up to 45 minutes per student.

After your child has been placed, they will be able to participate in our group lessons, which will be scheduled as follows:

All Group Lessons will be held on the following days/dates. GCR Staff has scheduled these dates to assure that no competitions or camp weeks interfere with group lesson days.

Each Group lesson day will follow the same schedule of ride times.

  • 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. — ALL-STAR LEVEL
  • 10:45 - 12:15 — GOLD LEVEL
  • 12:30 - 2:00 — SILVER LEVEL
  • 2:15 - 3:45 — BRONZE LEVEL

Depending on the amount of riders per group, we may have to add additional group lesson times.
