Game Creek Ranch Camp

We have put together a schedule for Summer 2010 and are excited to be putting on a very concentrated 5 weeks of camps that are theme/discipline-based.

These 5 weeks will be open to all students, of all levels and ages. We are only offering 10 spots for each week of camp, so be sure to act promptly as these spots will most likely fill up soon.  The camp will run from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM each day.

Students who will be traveling to shows with Game Creek Ranch will be required to attend the week of camp most relevant to their show schedule. For example, if a student is planning on going to the Teton County Fair with GCR for the English show, they must attend the week of camp that is based around English Fair preparation. If a student is planning on going to hunter shows with us, they must attend the Hunter preparation week of camp. We are asking this commitment of parents and students so that these students can go to a show with confidence and preparedness. Please see our 2009 Summer Ranch Camp schedule for more details.

Weekly Themes
Each week the Game Creek Ranch Camp will have an art- or nature-based theme. Each week’s theme will also incorporate what campers are learning about in their horse and athletic outreach activities.

Nature & Resources
Many of our athletic outings and activities incorporate our natural surroundings and local recreational resources. Hiking around Game Creek and visiting Grand Teton National Park provide ideal settings to incorporate Leave No Trace ethics and impress upon our campers their role in preserving our environment.

We receive many inquiries about places to stay while visiting Jackson Hole. While Game Creek Ranch has no affiliations with area lodging at this time, we do have a couple of recommendations as to where you may start your search.
